Mistaken Identity ‘Banoffee Pie’ Moon5hine

Doddie Weir OBE was one of rugby’s most recognisable personalities. He earned 61 caps for Scotland during a successful playing career, represented the British and Irish Lions on their tour to South Africa in 1997, and won championships with his two club sides, Melrose and Newcastle Falcons.

In June 2017 the Scot revealed he was suffering from motor neuron disease. From the outset, Doddie was driven to help fellow sufferers and seek ways to further research into this, as yet, incurable disease. And so, during the same year as his diagnosis, Doddie and his trustees created My Name’5 Doddie Foundation with one simple vision: a world free of MND. It has been an honour for Angus Alchemy to work with the foundation and family to create a unique, much-loved flavour for Doddie. Weaving our mixing mayhem and creative juices to blend “5” base flavours and a case of “mistaken identity” is the best nod we could think of for the legend himself.

With a £20 donation from every bottle going directly to the charity, we also hope it can make a difference.
